IMMOFINANZ announces numerous new partnerships and extensions of agreements with tenants in the local office sector, accounting for a total of over 37,000 sqm. The company has attracted new tenants for 19,200 sqm and has prolonged and extended existing contracts for over 18,000 sqm in seven of its class A office properties in Bucharest.
“We are delighted with how the first part of 2016 has been for our local office portfolio, as our existing properties are enjoying increasing demand”, said Sorin Visoianu, Country Manager Operations for Romania at IMMOFINANZ. “The numerous tenants joining us, as well as the extension of many lease agreements illustrate companies’ appetite for flexible, top quality office spaces.”
The most important new IMMOFINANZ tenants include Antena TV Group, one of Romania’s top TV family of channels, which will relocate its entire operations to 9,000 sqm in Iride Business Park, Am Grup Agent and Q’s Inn, which signed lease contracts for a total of over 3,500 sqm in Pipera Warehouse, and Banca Transilvania, with 1,800 sqm in Baneasa Airport Tower. Other six new tenants complete the list of new companies operating in Iride Business Park, among which Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net Romania and ComputerGames.ro, which have signed deals for almost 4,000 sqm. Victoria Park complex becomes nearly fully rented and diversifies the range of products and services available within the ground floor retail area, with new tenants from the pharma and wellness sectors.
Numerous lease contracts were also prolonged and extended, with the list of existing agreements’ being led by Global Business Center’s 10,000 sqm premises extension. Moreover, S-Park consolidates its position on the market with Wizrom, Johnson&Johnson and ING, IMMOFINANZ partners since 2007, prolonging and extending deals for total surfaces of over 4,500 sqm.
